1. Eligibility: The Sprint and Microsoft "Back to School" Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees of Sprint Communications Company L.P., Microsoft Corporation, Enpocket, ePrize, LLC, and their parent and affiliate companies, suppliers as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible. Subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and judge's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The Sweepstakes consists of Weekly Drawings Final and Secondary Drawings.

3. Timing: The Sweepstakes begins on August 4, 2005 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on September 15, 2005 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Sweepstakes Period"). The Sweepstakes consists of six (6) Weekly Entry Periods. See timing details in the chart below Enpocket's computer, on behalf of the Sponsors, is the official time keeping device for the Sweepstakes.

4. Three (3) Ways to Enter:
a. Via Text Messaging: If you are a Sprint PCS service subscriber and have a Sprint text messaging capable device, send a text message with the word "WIN" from your handset to the short code 724665 (SCHOOL) during the Sweepstakes Period. Once you send the text message, you automatically will be registered, will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes, and will receive a confirmation text message inviting you to play a text messaging trivia game for the chance to earn additional entries. You will have the option to choose from five (5) trivia categories ten (10) questions per category. Follow the directions to play the game. You will receive text message questions to your phone. For each question you answer, you will receive one (1) entry into the Weekly Drawing corresponding to the period in which you submitted the response (see chart above), the Grand Prize and Secondary Prize Drawings. If you respond to all questions in a particular category (regardless if the answer is correct or not), you will receive five (5) additional entries into the Weekly Drawing corresponding to the period in which you completed the category (see chart above), the Grand Prize and Secondary Prize Drawings. You can stop playing at any time by not responding to a question or by sending the word "STOP" to 724665 (SCHOOL). Limit: Seventy-Six (76) entries via the text-messaging method per person, per Sprint text messaging capable device during the Sweepstakes Period. You will be charged for each text message sent or received from your handset according to the terms in your Service Agreement with Sprint.
b. Additional MSN Messenger ("IM") Entries: Once registered for the Sweepstakes, as set forth in 4(a) above, you will receive five (5) additional sweepstakes entries each day during the Sweepstakes Period that you log in and use MSN Messenger on your Sprint PCS Instant Messaging ("IM") capable device. Usage may be on the browsable or downloadable MSN Messenger service. Limit: Two Hundred Fifteen (215) entries via the IM method per person, per Sprint PCS IM capable device during the Sweepstakes Period. You may incur charges for each mobile IM you send on your wireless device according to the terms in your Service Agreement with Sprint
c. Alternative Method of Entry: To enter without using a Sprint text messaging or IM capable device, hand print your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address (if any), date of birth and "Sprint and Microsoft 'Back to School' Sweepstakes" on a 3" x 5" piece of paper and send it to "Sprint and Microsoft 'Back to School' Sweepstakes," P.O. Box 8070 Royal Oak, MI 48068-8070, U.S.A. Entries must be postmarked and received to be included in the corresponding drawings, set forth in the chart in Section 3 above. You will receive fifteen (15) entries for each timely received 3" x 5" piece of paper. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsors, and none will be acknowledged or returned. Proof of sending or submission will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsors. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, illegible, misdirected or postage-due entries, which will be disqualified. Use of any automated system to submit entries is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Only one 3" x 5" piece of paper per envelope will be accepted. Limit: Two Hundred Ninety-One (291) entries via the alternate mail-in method per person during the Sweepstakes Period.
Limit: Two Hundred Ninety-One (291) entries per person per Sprint PCS device (if applicable) regardless of method or combination of methods of entry during the Sweepstakes Period. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different wireless devices, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that participant's entries and that participant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsors are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any registration or play, the authorized account holder of the Sprint PCS text messaging and/or IM capable phone (if applicable) used to register will be deemed to be the registrant or player. The "authorized account holder" of a Sprint PCS text messaging and/or IM capable phone is the natural person in whose name the phone has been issued and the services are billed. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder.
5. All potential sweepstakes winners are subject to verification by Sponsors or administrator, whose decisions are final AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE Sweepstakes. An entrant is not a winner of any prize unless and until entrant's eligibility have been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete. Sponsors will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. Any play that occurs after the system has failed for any reason is deemed a defective play and is void and will not be honored.
6. Drawings: Entry Period Drawings: Administrator, an independent judging organization, whose decisions as to the administration and operation of the Sweepstakes and the selection of the potential winners are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes, will randomly select the potential Weekly Prize winners from all eligible entries received during the corresponding Weekly Entry Period set forth in the chart in Section 3 above. Non-winning entries will carry over into subsequent drawings. Final Drawing: Administrator will randomly select the potential Grand, First and Second Prize winners from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period on or around September 29, 2005.
7. Verification of Potential Winners: Potential winners must continue to comply with all terms and conditions of these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. The potential Sweepstakes winners will be notified by phone or registered mail. The potential winners will be required to sign and return to ePrize, within ten (10) days of the date notice is sent, an affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release (except where prohibited) in order to claim his/her prize if applicable. If a potential winner of any prize cannot be contacted, or fails to sign and return the affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period (if applicable), potential winner forfeits prize. In the event that a potential winner of any prize is disqualified for any reason, Sponsors will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries. Only three (3) alternate drawings will be held after which the prize will remain unawarded. Prizes will be fulfilled 8-10 weeks after the end of the promotion.
8. Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize: 42" HP Plasma HDTV, HP z557 Digital Entertainment Center, HP Photosmart R717 camera, HP Photosmart 8750 Photo Printer, HP Media Center m7100y Photosmart PC, Microsoft Xbox Video Game System, and 1,000 MSN Music downloads. Winner will receive Music download portion of the prize in the form of a gift code to be entered on a specific MSN website. A credit of 1,000 songs will appear on the account after initial gift code has been entered. Winner must enter the code within thirty (30) days of notification of grand prize status and has to use all the within six (6) months) from date first download is redeemed or winner forfeits prize. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $12,389.51.

Thirty (30) Weekly Prizes (five (5) per Weekly Drawing): a Microsoft® Xbox Video Game System Pack, which consists of an Xbox console, two controllers, DVD movie playback kit, The Xbox game title "Star Wars® Knights of the Old" Xbox Game, and a Prima Game Guide. Total ARV of weekly Xboxes: $6,500.
For All Prizes: The ARV of electronic prizes are subject to price fluctuations in the consumer marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for purposes of these Official Rules and the date the prize is awarded or redeemed. No cash equivalent and all prizes are non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Sponsors's sole discretion. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute any listed prize or prize component for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees associated with prize receipt and/or use. Shipping and handling costs will be covered by Sponsors. Odds of winning a Sweepstakes prize depends on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES: $20,366.51.
9. Release: By receipt of any Sweepstakes prize, winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sprint Communications Company L.P., Microsoft Corporation, ePrize, LLC, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/Sweepstakes agencies and each of their respective parent companies and each such company's officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
10. Publicity: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes winners consent to Sponsors' and its agents' use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.
11. General Conditions: Sponsors reserve the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor beyond Sponsors' reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsors in its sole discretion. Sponsors reserve the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other Promotion, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsors reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsors's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
12. Limitations of Liability: The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsors, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. In event that production, technical, seeding, programming or any other reasons cause more than stated number of prizes as set forth in these Official Rules to be available and/or claimed Sponsors reserves the right to award only the stated number of prizes by a random drawing among all legitimate, unawarded, eligible prize claims.
13. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Southern Division) or the appropriate Michigan State Court located in Oakland County, Michigan U.S.A.; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsors in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Michigan, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Michigan or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Michigan.

15. Sweepstakes Results: For Sweepstakes results and/or a copy of these Official Rules, send a hand-printed, self-addressed, stamped envelope to "Sprint and Microsoft 'Back to School' Sweepstakes Winners/Rules", c/o ePrize, LLC, P.O. Box 8070 Royal Oak, MI 48068-8070. Requests for winners list must be received by December 29, 2005. Vermont residents may exclude return postage.
