Based on technology developed by GoAmerica, the provider of WyndTell® service, Sprint Relay Wireless enables WyndTell wireless users to connect to Sprint Relay Online^SM from virtually anywhere on the Sprint network using a choice of wireless handheld devices and pagers.

Sprint Relay Wireless effectively makes calling via relay while on the go—from the airport, the restaurant, or even the backyard—as simple as connection to Sprint Relay Online from a computer.

Sprint continues to deliver on its commitment to provide anytime, anyplace communication for the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities with Sprint Relay Wireless.

How it Works

Sprint Relay Wireless blends the easy-to-use capabilities of Sprint Relay Online with the power of WyndTell service. The service is immediately accessible through the RIM 850/857 and 950 devices running WyndTell service. To find out if your wireless device will have future access to Sprint Relay Wireless, send an email to srw@goamerica.com and provide your wireless device with model number information. We will let you know when your device will be accessible to Sprint Relay Wireless.

Installation

To install Sprint Relay Wireless on the 950 RIM device:

1. Go to the main menu on the pager.
2. Select Setup.
3. Choose Chat Options.
4. Select Relay Phone and enter the 10-digit number 8888888888.
5. Select Save.

To install Sprint Relay Wireless on the RIM 850/857 device, visit Wyndtell for download.

Making a Call

To make a Sprint Relay Wireless call on the RIM 950 device:

1. After the initial set-up, select Chat from the main menu.
2. Choose a number to be dialed from your address book, or enter a new number.
3. Press the roller wheel and select Use Relay.
4. The call proceeds as a standard relay call.

To make a Sprint Relay Wireless call on the RIM 850/857 device:

1. Once download and installation are complete, synchronize your pager by connecting to the charging cradle.
2. Begin using Sprint Relay Wireless; no registration needed.
